1.75mm polycarbonate filament is a real high performing material. It is used in bulletproof glass, safety goggles and CD's for example. It's key properties are strength, clarity and high temperature resistance. It also needs a high processing temperature of 270 °C. So make sure your printer is able to handle that.
You may need PC if:
- - you need very strong parts
- - high temperature resistance (up to 120 °C)
- - low flammability
